Prime room: Jindaikaku
In 1877, the building, Jinshirou Hiramatu's cottage, was built as "Hiramatu cottage".  It was later remodeled into this luxurious guest room, "Jindaikaku".  Jinshirou Hiramatu was executive of the bank in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.  We prides ourself on this room, it is made of an ancient rare Japanese cedar "Jindaisugi", it is dug out from below the earth.

Most of our guest room looks to the mountain stream, but not "Jindaikaku".
You can see the cascade "Shirabenotaki" flow into the pond.  This room stands on the pond in the courtyard.
